Paris, Owner and Operator of Paris Productions, a Consultant of Public Relations, Advertising & Promotions in Indian River County, is the proud recipient of an Award of Distinction from the State of Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), for her work on the Mental Health Association’s TurtleTrax program. Tammy Adams and Mary-Ruth Foley of the Mental Health Association in Indian River County, Inc.(MHA) joined Paris at the Amelia Island FPRA Conference’s Golden Image Awards Ceremony earlier this week to receive the honored award. Paris was one of 277 submissions in the competition and was one of 117 individuals or companies to be selected. The award was presented by Adrienne Moore, FPRA President and member of the Treasure Coast Chapter.
The Golden Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionals in our state. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. To qualify for judging, an entry must incorporate sound public relations research and planning. Entries also must meet the highest standard of production, execution and evaluation of results and budget. The Award of Distinction is presented to an individual or company that meets the standard of excellence set by a panel of judges. The awards competition included four divisions of categories. Paris and the MHA were awarded for a Public Relations Institutional Program that created a public image for MHA. It was designed to generate support for and awareness of the organization’s mission , values, programs, plans or activities. MHA’s highly successful TurtleTrax program achieved all criteria. For

Treasure Coast FPRA Awards Paris Communicator of the Year
Beverly S. Paris, Co-owner of Paris Productions, a Consultant of Public Relations, Advertising & Promotions in Indian River County, is the proud recipient of an Award of Distinction for Public Relations from the Treasure Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). The award recognizes Paris as the 2007 Communicator of the Year for a Nonprofit Organization; namely The Emerson Center’s 2006-2007 Celebrated Speakers Series. The award was presented by Beverly Bevis Jones, FPRA of the FPRA Treasure Coast Chapter at the Image Awards dinner held at the Schreiber Conference Center at St. Lucie West. The Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionals in our state. The Award of Distinction is presented to an individual or company that meets the standard of excellence set by a panel of judges. The Celebrated Speakers Series, presented by the Emerson Center at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Vero Beach, was launched in late 2006 with Judy Woodruff as the guest Speaker. Other 2007 speakers included Dave Barry, George Will, The Motley Fool and Doris Kearns Goodwin. She was honored at the FPRA 2008 Image and Communicator of the Year Awards Presentation at the IRCC Schreiber Conference Center on April 22nd. Paris was nominated by Indian River National Bank-RBC and won for the Communicator/For Profit Category. She has handled public relations and advertising for the bank since 2000. The prestigious award was presented to Paris by Adrienne Moore, President of the FPRA Treasure Coast Chapter. Beverly S.
